Wow. Our first day "off", otherwise known as we have no classes on the weekend.

Right now I'm in the computer room. I've been here since...well I've been here too long. I've probably been watching anime for a couple hours. >_> I watched the most recent episode of Time of Eve. I used headphones, but my fangirlish squealing attracted the some attention. It was actually pretty quiet earlier, but then the musical mish mosh that we shall call our band came down fitted in their new, spiffy clothes from the Salvation Army. (a green suit and striped purple pants were among some of these items) And now it's pretty busy.

Apparently there has been a group for NYSSSA set up on facebook where people are posting pictures, but I don't have a facebook so I won't bother to link you guys.

Yesterday we went to a faire/carnival with the Film kids. The photography kids had been there since the morning, so they were pretty bored by the time we got there. The computer art assignment was for us to record different sounds that we'll play with on Monday. We were each supposed to take the recorder and record 3 sounds over 2 seconds long, but we kind of failed so I ended up recording something like 10 of them. In the end we had about 23 tracks.

I got a dress while there. I was really paranoid that it was going to dye all my clothes blue when I did laundry, but I didn't have enough clothes to do two different loads. ...my underwear is now blue. As is the white shirt I borrowed from my little purple elephant. Oh, and for some bizarre reason I decided to wash the towels we were given by the college. ...my towels are now quite noticeably more blue than the color white should be.

In class I have made a poster in Illustrator where we had to trace an image, but I can't post it until I manage to make a normal file type out of it. We also made "zines" in InDesign, which I will not post. -shame-
